IT Desktop Support Technician

I am skilled at resolving software and hardware problems, including operating systems, and across a broad range of office software applications.

SUCCESS STORIES
✔ A team of developers needed images created in multiple languages including Chinese and Hungarian to test software. I installed multiple versions of Windows in ten different languages and then created images. I built a RAID5 file server to store those images. I also wrote a script that automated the imaging and testing of the software.
✔ A school required employees to be set up with VOIP phones and learn how to use them. I ordered the phones, configured them for each user, and wrote documentation so the employees could quickly set up their voicemail and use the features of their phone.
✔ I’ve worked with thousands of clients in person and remotely, with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, social media marketing, solving networking, hardware, and software issues.
WHY ME?
I am passionate about technology and language. I love working on AWS, Raspberry Pi projects, and creating WordPress websites.
As a Talmudist, I know how to analyze and be able to clearly articulate both sides of an argument.
I was the INTP kid who would come home from the library with a pile of nonfiction books because I was fascinated by so many topics. I loved playing on the Apple IIe.
