My specialty is improving productivity by creatively resolving incidents, and being a friendly resource for team members. My expertise also includes presenting to groups and writing clear documentation using nontechnical language.

EXPERIENCE

IT Support Consultant, L&A Computer Services, Chicago, IL 2003 – Present

Projects Included:
✔ A team of developers needed images created in multiple languages including Chinese and Hungarian to test software. I installed multiple versions of Windows in ten different languages and then created images. I built a RAID5 file server to store those images. I also wrote a script that automated the imaging and testing of the software.

✔ A school required employees to be set up with VOIP phones and learn how to use them. I ordered the phones, configured them for each user, and wrote documentation so the employees could quickly set up their voicemail and use the features of their phone.

✔ I’ve worked with thousands of clients in person and remotely, with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, social media marketing, solving networking, hardware, and software issues.

Video Content Consultant, Internet Video Maven, Chicago, IL    2012 – 2016

  • Developed and presented a series of workshops to help participants communicate their expertise.
  • Interviewed clients to help them develop their story.
  • Produced, directed, and edited client videos.

Educational Director, TDI, Chicago, IL  2006 – 2014

TDI provided classes for adults seeking to understand talmudic text in the original Aramaic. Participants achieve competency in the vocabulary and grammar of the Gemara as well as an understanding of the logical analysis of talmudic arguments and legal principles.

  • Developed adult education program in 5 locations.
  • Created course curricula.
  • Taught dozens of students aged 20 – 60+.
  • Wrote press releases that were published in national newspapers.
  • Created marketing materials for the local area.

Educator, Arie Crown Day School, Skokie, IL 1992 – 2003

Arie Crown Hebrew Day School is a preschool through 8th grade Jewish day school offering an exemplary Judaic and secular education. Educators challenge students to think critically, ensuring their cultivation and growth as upstanding members of the Jewish community.

  • Created an engaging, positive learning environment with incentives and exciting activities.
  • Conducted workshops for faculty members in the use of technology and software.
